The Vinologue enotourism guides were created to showcase lesser-known wine regions around the world. We go further than your traditional travel guide by taking you to the wines and the culture that surrounds them.
Seeking to “be wine curious”, every guide is full of detailed information on the wineries, the wines they produce, as well as the culture, language, and history of the regions they call home.
After several trips through the countries of the Balkan Peninsula from 2003-2007, we quickly discovered two facts: the wines were outstanding and the section on the wines in most travel guides was about 1-2 pages at most. This was not enough to truly show their greatness, the culture around them, and we realized a similar plight for other wine regions in the world. In 2008, we took matters in to our own hands and wrote the first editions of our Dalmatia and Herzegovina enotourism guides.
