We were quite happy to be notified this week that our latest enotourism guide, the Vinologue Priorat book has won the award for “Best European Wine Book” (from a United States Publisher) from the prestigious Gourmand International. More than 5,000 books published in over a hundred countries around the world participate every year in the Gourmand Awards.
Naturally, to have this recognition bestowed upon us is fantastic and encourages us to keep working on new guides such as the forthcoming first edition of, DO Montsant (neighboring DOQ Priorat). Now we are looking forward to seeing if the guide wins the “Gourmand Best in the World” top award to be announced during their annual awards ceremony and Cookbook Fair in Beijing, China on May, 20 2014.
